Fabulous Crabs

Crabs are extraordinary
cool shellfish. Did you know that crabs wiggle out of their skin when it
grows bigger? Did you know that one of their enemies is a hawk? Read
on to learn more about these awesome creatures!
Appearance
Most crabs are brown. The Fiddle Crab has very heavy claws. The King Crab is the height of an 11 year old. Their shells very bumpy and hard . They have three or four legs on each side. The Spider Crab is 12 feet from claw tip to claw tip.
Behavior
These amazing crabs like to walk under water. The Blue Crab loves to lie on soft mud. He runs fast. When he is trying to get away their enemy they cam flog their bodies. The Robber Crab spends most of time on land. They pinch peoples clothes.
Habitat
These fabulous crabs live in sandy beaches and ocean bottoms. The Ghost Crab lives in sandy bottoms above the reach of waves. The Land Crab lives on the sea trees. Most of these amazing creatures lives in fresh water. Sometimes crabs like to live in the sea. They like to live in shallow waters and ocean edges.
Range
You would find these mighty fish live in the North Pole even the Atlantic coast. You will find them out side of Fogo Island and out side of Newfoundland.
Food
Crabs eat sea scraps, dead fish even meat. The Blue Crab eats ousters. This amazing shellfish loves to eat sea weed. The Land Crab even eats leaves.
Young
The salt water crab lays it's eggs in shallows seas. Young Land Crabs leaves the sea when it becomes an adult.
Enemies
A crabs has many enemies. Some of this creature are people, bald eagles, and hawks. seals, octopuses, and sharks also hunt and kill this shellfish.
Other Interesting facts
These magnificent shellfish are valued for food. The smallest crab is the Pee Crab. The largest crab is the Japanese Spider crab.

Magnificent Crabs

Did you know that some crabs are the height of an eleven year old child. Did you know that one of the crabs worst enemies are people. To learn more about these amazing animals read the following report. You will be thrilled.
Appearance
All crabs have strong, heavy claws. They have a hard shell and three or four legs on each side. These animals can be really tiny.
Behavior
Crabs walk under water and run fast. But they spend most of their time on land. These animals run sideways and pinch people's toes. They lie on the soft mud of the Atlantic Coast . The spider crab camouflages its body.
Habitat
Crabs live in all kinds of waters. Some crabs like the Ghost Crab live in sandy burrows above reach of waves and the Land Crabs live by sea side trees. Crabs live in deep water, ocean bottoms, and lots of other places.
Foods
This fantastic creature eats sea scraps, meat, seaweed, and sometimes leaves. Sometimes people like to eat crabs too.
Range
This interesting, awesome creature lives in many places. They live from the North Pole, Coast of Norway, off Newfoundland, and even outside Fogo Island. Crabs can live in a lot of places.
Enemies
These fabulous animals have some pretty mean enemies like octopuses, seals, hawks, sharks, but mostly people. People go out in boat and fish for crab, and they bring them home and they eat them.
Young
Crabs like salt water. Crabs lay eggs in shallow seas. New born crabs are called larva, larva do not have a shell. When young land crabs become adults they leave sea but they come back to lay eggs.

When a young crab gets bigger it wiggles out of its shell. The smallest crab is a Pea Crab and the biggest crab is a Japanese Spider Crab. Did you know their is 4500 species of crabs.
Crabs are amazing! There are a lot of crabs on earth. There are big crabs and small crabs. I am amazed of all the things I learned about these fantastic creatures.

Crabs are awesome shellfish! Crabs look ugly and creepy but they are really tasty! Did you know that crabs have eyes on top of their head? Did you know that pea crabs are the smallest crabs and the Japanese spider crabs are the largest? Read my report and you will be thrilled.
Appearance
Most crabs have hard shells and strong, heavy claws but some are very tiny. Fiddler crabs front claws that weights as heavy as the crab itself and has three or four legs on each side. Some crabs are yellow, orange, and other colors. The king crab is the height of a 11 year old and the spider crab is 12 feet across from claw tip to claw tip. Some are suspiciously odd shellfish.
Behavior
Some crabs walk or run under water and on top of land. Most crabs run fast and walk very slowly. Spider crabs camouflage their bodies in rocks, and things on the land and also in the ocean. Robber crabs spend most of their time on land and less of their time in the water. All the amazing shellfish pinch people's toes when they are disturbed. The Blue crab lies on the soft mud of the Atlantic coast.
Habitat
These awesome shellfish live on sandy beaches and on ocean bottoms. Sometimes they stay in shallow water to keep away from the sun. Land crabs live on the seaside trees in the shady part. Most, live in the sea or deep water. They sometimes live in fresh water.
Range
This fantastic creature have been seen in the north pole and the coast of Norway. Some have been spotted just outside our beautiful island called '' Fogo Island.'' Most crabs are just outside Newfoundland.
Food
Crabs eat many types of food like sea scraps or dead fish. The Blue crab sometimes eat oysters, meat, and seaweed. Some crabs eat leaves.
Young
Magnificent Salt water crabs lay their eggs in shallow seas. Creepy larvae have no shells. Most young land crabs leave the sparkly sea when they become a wonderful adult. But they all come back to lay their eggs.
Enemies
Some people eat different kinds of crabs. An enormous bald eagle kills crabs and so does frightening sharks. Sometimes huge hawks also eat crabs . Some 8 tentacle octopuses do too. Furry seals also eat poor, lonely crabs.
